Surrounded by the arts and creative influences, Jayd discovered her passion for music, dance and drama at a young age. She grew up in a home filled with music spanning generations and developed an appreciation for all genres of music from classic rock to gospel. As she grew, singing and songwriting became the way that she expressed her experiences of love, loss and self-discovery.
